AN INTIMATE MEETING PLACE FOR THOSE IN SEARCH OF UNDERSTATED SOPHISTICATION THAT IS DISTINCTLY MILANESE.
Senato Caffè is a classic Italian café: guests may eat or drink at any hour of the day, reserve a table for lunch or dinner or enjoy an aperitivo, and taste a selection of specialties that have been chosen with both passion and knowledge.
Our Food Curator is Maddalena Fossati Dondero, editor in chief of La Cucina Italiana, who has sourced all the products and drawn up combinations for the menu.
The interior design is the work of Milanese architect Alessandro Bianchi, who has overseen the entire Senato Hotel Milano project.
The Caffè is a series of settings: the bijou booth seating before a Milanese mood board; a video installation where Milan is screened in film clips from movies from the 1950s to the present; the main cafe space with its brass counter and tables in baby blue and marble; and, lastly, the chic patio that is heated when temperatures drop and that is adorned with hydrangea and ginkgo biloba, the hotel’s emblem.
